Pastor, Tyrone Thirkield
Pastor Tyrone loves to fish but knows we are all called to be fishers of men. He received his calling in 1992 but it was a few years later before he acepted it. God has delivered him through many trials thoughout his life, Isaiah 43:2, and to God be the Glory he has been strengthened to continue to serve the Lord. He served as Interim Pastor at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Higginsville, MO before God gave him the vision to plant New Hope Baptist Church of Odessa. Pastor Tyrone also works at Ford Motor Co, Claycomo and attends seminary at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Pastor lives in Lee’s Summit with his wife, Nicci, and youngest son, Tytus.
Evangelist Wilbur Conway
Evangelist Conway has served almost 50 years in ministry to God all over the world. He served in the United States Navy before retiring and attended San Diego University and CH Mason Bible School. He has written two books, “Oh Yes He Can” and “Manhood, God’s Style.” He and his wife, Dr. Corinne Conway, of 61 years live in Higginsville, MO. They raised 8 children and enjoy their 7 grandkids.
